Brian Emmert, MD is an epileptologist at Columbia University, a medical educator, and a former president of the Consortium of Neurology Residents & Fellows (CNRF) at the American Academy of Neurology. We discuss what first got Brian interested in medical education in neurology, who his key medical education mentors were, and what advice he has for trainees who want to get more involved in medical education. Brian's advice: it's never too early to get started or involved!
